Using Eleventy and WebC for Simpler, Performant Web Components
TheJam.dev is a 2-day virtual conference focused on how to build modern web applications using Jamstack, serverless and more
Eleventy (or 11ty for short) is a different kind of JavaScript-based static site generator in that it is designed to be simple and easy-to-user without relying on any JavaScript framework. This can make it ideal for developers who want to get started building Jamstack sites but without the learning curve of React, Vue or Angular. In this free virtual meetup, Joel Varty will show you how to get started building Jamstack sites using JavaScript and Eleventy.
Sometimes you just want to get some dynamic content into some static HTML files. If you have a static, hardcoded website that’s already built, you don’t need to completely rebuild it in order to get dynamic content into it from an API such as a headless CMS. Eleventy is a great tool to do this work - even if you only need to work on one file at a time.
What you’ll need to get flying with Eleventy:
