Does the Jamstack term still have value? Can the community around it be revived by refocusing the term on some of its original and unique core values? Zach Leatherman, creator of Eleventy, believes so and it is putting this belief into action via his blog post and The Future of Jamstack web site.
I am interested to see where this leads. On the one hand, the community seems to have dispersed largely into framework specific communities on Discord, but I also think the term still describes something unique, from a web architecture perspecive, that we don't currently have a better term for.

The Tension and Future of Jamstack Zach, the creator of Eleventy, discusses what to do with Jamstack now that Netlify has largely moved on from the term. He believes the term still has a lot of value in describing something unique, if it can be refocused on some of its core values. He also announced a new site, The Future of Jamstack that is offering opportunities for folks interested to get involved.
